Lou Kennedy, the President, CEO, and Owner of Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation, brings a wealth of experience and expertise in business leadership and innovation to the Delta Bravo team. 
Lou Kennedy is widely recognized for her remarkable contributions to Nephron Pharmaceuticals, a certified woman-owned business that has seen unprecedented growth under her leadership. The company’s state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in West Columbia now produces one billion doses of life-saving medication annually. Nephron Pharmaceuticals is also at the forefront of manufacturing opioid-free pain management drugs, demonstrating Kennedy’s commitment to delivering essential healthcare solutions.
In 2022, Lou Kennedy announced a historic expansion with the establishment of Nephron Nitrile, a medical-grade nitrile glove production facility. This initiative represents an investment of over $100 million, creating 250 jobs in the Midlands region, contributing significantly to the local economy and supply chain resilience.
Kennedy’s dedication to public service is evident through her appointment by Governor Henry McMaster to #acceleratesc, South Carolina’s COVID-19 advisory and recovery team, during the worldwide pandemic. She has also served as the past chair of SCbio, a statewide association promoting the life sciences industry, where she received the prestigious Pinnacle Award for her significant contributions to advancing life sciences in the state.
Governor Nikki Haley recognized Lou Kennedy’s lifetime of outstanding service with South Carolina’s highest civilian honor, the Order of the Palmetto.
